I love this! Everything has turned on it’s head, Sookie is now in danger, and he still wants to kill Russell, yet he still manages to say please and thank you. :)

I laughed out loud at his “thank you,” as if she complied. :) But what I really love about it is that it could have been an incredibly mean-spirited moment, or condescending moment, or played out in any number of bad ways, but instead, despite the gesture, it’s actually none of these things. And I give huge credit to AS for all the subtleties of voice, tone, and expression to make it what it is. :)

As funny and cute as this scene is, it really makes us all realize his love and care for her. You never tell someone you care about to SHUT UP meanly.. like honestly, I think I told my boyfriend it once and it wasn’t even that mean and I cried immediatly because it actually hurt my heart to be so mean like that..anyways.. what I am trying to get at is

  • Bill always tells Sookie to shut up, and is mean and is always telling her what to do
  • Eric needs her to shut up to save her and his ass, and yet he still does it as nicely as possible. Yes, it’s rude to cover her mouth, but he doesn’t hurt her or yell at her or get nasty with her. They are in fucking TROUBLE and he still does it in a way where he is being somewhat respectful.

And yes, I know we all already know this, but I just like to reiterate sometimes.

Also, he still isn’t an angel in this scene, but he is a hell of a lot nicer than BEEHL!

ALSO ALSO, can someone do a gif set of all the times someone has told Sookie to shut up? I just want it out there, because #POOR SOOKIE

If anything, she’s the one who should be telling everyone else to shut up!
